Portable versions of popular next-gen medieval romp takes the prequel route
Ubisoft has confirmed that the DS version of its successful console outing, dubbed Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles, will hit European retail next month.
The game boasts a fully interactive 3D world and all four cities featured in the Xbox 360 and PS3 version.
"The success of Assassin's Creed worldwide has been incredible and we're excited to delve deeper into the story and bring it to the Nintendo DS," Ubisoft’s EMEA marketing director John Parkes stated.
"Assassin's Creed Altaïr's Chronicles will be a title that resonates with those who played the console version as well as those who have yet to discover the secrets of Assassin's Creed."

Another great title for a great machine
After the fantastic Call of Duty 4 on the DS I cant wait to try this out, I'm really happy that developers are bringing these titles to the DS and really making the technology do some amazing things.
