Second ever UbiDAYS to take place in Paris in May

Ubisoft has invited European press and business partners to its second UbiDAYS trade show, which will take place at Paris’ Louvre museum on Wednesday, May 28th-29th.

The event will be the second ever UbiDAYS. Last year’s expo heralded the launch of Ubisoft’s Games for Everyone casual range.

The publisher has promised similar surprises for this year – and ‘a rare opportunity for guests to meet Ubisoft team members and creative talents’.

“The inaugural UbiDAYS in 2007 was a big step for us and a calculated bet, given the worldwide evolution of the industry,” said Ubisoft’s executive director for Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific (EMEA) Alain Corre.

“The positive feedback from last year convinced us that this was the ideal way to present our games and to have enriching exchanges with partners who support us year after year. We’re eagerly awaiting UbiDAYS 2008, which is already shaping up to offer a look at future industry trends and the group’s upcoming blockbuster titles.”

The list of featured games and event program will be revealed later.

Sure.....PC games are the big money maker, but Ubi dropped the ball with the franchise after the original GR and the two expansion discs back in 2002. Drop the arcade style and get tactical again.
