Cavanagh leads SCi management departures

Ennis and Murphy also depart; Phil Rogers takes over as CEO

Following a period of increasing pressure on the board of Britsoft publisher and Eidos owner SCi, CEO Jane Cavanagh, managing director of publishing Bill Ennis and managing director of studios Rob Murphy have all left the company.

Group CFO Phil Rogers steps up to fill Cavanagh’s position, despite having only joined the firm in March last year. US CFO Malcolm Dunne has flown over to take over Rogers’ former role.

A company statement reads: "Led by Phil, the board has already commenced a root and branch review of the company's strategy and will report back to shareholders on our findings and recommendations within our clear timetable.”

SCi will provide shareholders with a financial update and a review of the situation in late February.

They clearly were in over there heads since the Eidos takeover.

Haven't really had a handle on this company since pre Eidos. Almost every move since then has been a mis step.

This is clearly the beginning of the end.for this company. Now it is down to the death throws.
