Can't wait for this, it's gonna be amazing, the reason I got my PS3 has almost arrived :)

I still fail to understand buying something expensive like the PS3 for things that aren't out yet. Its like buying a car now that runs on a new type of fuel that will be out next year.

Oh well, if there is a demo it will be interesting to see if it is any good. Though I have my doubts, just like I do with GTA 4. I have a nasty feeling they will just be more of the same and I don't know if I ca be bothered, especially with GTA.

The only reason why this game is not out now is because there are not enough people to buy it. MGS4 should be a really great game, there is no doubting that but with PS3 sales still low and MGS4 being somewhat for a niche market(although a large one) will not sell a million copies on first day sales and I doubt they would hit that figure in a week either.

I can’t find the link but I read that Konami and Co. have stated that there will NOT be a demo but as soon as someone says that, who works for Sony(I know he’s his own man) or works very close too, then they mean YES, because every time Sony has denied a rumour, it has turned out to be true, I have no examples on me at the moment but I’m sure some of you know what I’m talking about.

In the end, this will be one hell o***ame and I for one am looking forward to this and can’t wait to try out the first person mode, which I understand is playable though out the entire game (what Konami should do is edit footage of FPS mode and use that in their adds/commercials, give it a Halo feel to publicize the coolness of the graphs and such just to hype it up more “wow did you see that shooter!”) that’s what I would do, if it was my game….ha I wish.

Graeme, that's a ridiculous statement you just made, you know he can buy other games, hell he can just use it as a DVD/Blu-Ray player or a music player until the game he is most looking forward to comes out on the PS3.

I strongly doubt that he’s PS3 is sitting there doing absolutely nothing, don’t you? but then again, he might still have it boxed up, under his bed, waiting for MGS4 to come out so that he may christen his new machine with it?

Nah, its not boxed xD I play the games that I got in the package with it and have watched a few blu-ray movies with it, I really love MGS, If you were me then you would understand, and even if it costs 350 of my best English pounds, I will see the ending to the saga I have followed all my life.

I understand. it takes a very special kind of franchise to get someone to buy a console.

MG Ac!d was my first PSP game, MGS4 clinched the deal for me with the current gen of consoles. i have a lot of other games for both consoles of cource but MGS is a big enoug deal for me to buy a wii or switch on my old 360 more than once a month...

Right on brothers MG for life and i also bought a ps3 just for this game and please don't compare this game to Halo we all know that MG is far more superior to that. Flame on
