Intriguing conversion of Konami’s football sim to make the most of Nintendo’s Wi-Fi Connect service
Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 has to date enjoyed a heady mix of tremendous commercial success and mixed critical musings, but the upcoming Wii version of the game looks to offer something genuinely different.
And to top off the exciting prospect of its Wii debut, CVG claims that the game will also boast online internet multiplayer over Nintendo’s Wi-Fi Connect service.
The Wii version of the title has been completely redesigned from the bottom up to make the most of Nintendo’s unique control offering, allowing players unprecedented command of the playing field.
The game is expected to hit UK retail in March.
