Claims that Sony’s PS3 slash-em-up won’t arrive until Christmas 2009
Consumer games site GamesRadar is claiming that a ‘reliable Sony source’ has told it that the highly anticipated God of War III for PS3 will not be released until Christmas 2009.
Although official information about the game is more or less non-existent at the moment, it is said to support 1080p and Sixaxis support, including the new rumble features.
Many had anticipated a Q4 2008 release.

THIS IS **** POSS 2009 FOR GOD OF WAR 3,NO WONDER PS3 OWNERS R SWITCHING 2 XBOX 360 FOR THERE GAMING NEEDS
Re: ****?!
Anyone expected it sooner than this? The Original God of War took what 4 years to make? 2009 sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
Re: ****?!
Why not play something else in the meantime? This isnt the world of LCD gaming you know. You can actually play a lot of ddifferent games on these mystical black boxes!
Re: ****?!
Sorry, but as a PS3 owner, I'm not switching to any other console and nor are a lot of other people. There are plenty of quality titles on PS3 now, plenty coming out in the next 12 months as well. And seein****ow late in the PS2 life cycle the original GOW (that's God of War not Gears of War to all you XBots) came out, I don't have any problem with GOW 3 taking another 2 years to perfect as the first game on the PS2 really showed what could be done on that console, I'm sure GOW 3 will do the same for PS3.
You talk a load of carp (sic) post 1. I suspect you're not even a PS3 owner and are in fact an XBox owner just trying to stir things up - but it clearly doesn't wash with real PS3 owners who are happy with what they have and with what it due out.
Re: ****?!
On my post above the missing letters are G for gold, A for Alpha, S for Sierra and H for Hotel... Yes I can sort of see why that word is offensive in some respects but it is also the term for a bad injury... There really are some completely random words that get censored on this site...
