Wii hits six million sales in Europe

DS sales in Europe now over 20 million; Software unit sales revealed
Nintendo has revealed its latest installed base figures – and can boast six million Wii sales and a phenomenal 20 million DS sales across Europe.
The platform holder also announced its financials for the year ending December 31st 2007, confirming that it has sold over 20 million Wiis and over 64 million DS consoles worldwide.
As of January 2008, Nintendo’s sales figures, released this morning, are as follows:
European Wii sales (sell-through estimate):
Wii: Over six million units
Wii Play: 2.3 million units
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: 1.3 million units
Mario Party 8: One million units
Super Mario Galaxy: 1.3 million units
European Nintendo DS sales (sell through estimate):
Nintendo DS: 20 million units
Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain?: Five million units
More Brain Training From Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain?: 2.8 million units
Nintendogs: Eight million units

Hey smartass, Nintendo only report sales of games they published themselves. Third party game sales are reported by the respective third parties.
