The title will be released simultaneously worldwide on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 29th.

Hopefully it stays on target for that release date, cant wait to get it for the Xbox 360.

I think it was delayed for online improvements, this game might still have some minor issues online but lets hope its not as bad as Saints Row.

Personally I can see this games shifting millions, but I think it may ultimately prove to be a disappointment - much like San Andreas was. There's nothing really next gen about this game. The graphics just look like higher quality PS2 graphics. It was similar with San Andreas which was better looking on the 360 than the PS2, but the game play wasn't any different between the two consoles. There's nothing about GTA IV that says to me a version couldn't have been made for the PS2.

We've already seen far better looking games on both the PS3 and 360 than what the previews of GTA IV are showing us, with better animation, lighting and textures such as Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Heavenly Sword and Bioshock. I really believe that if Rockstar had perhaps just released a PS3 only version, then they could have utilised the extra storage capacity of the PS3 over the 360 to produce some real WOW! graphics. Even the sound isn't inspiring me - the bike in the preview sounds identical to the old versions of the game.

With San Andreas being the only GTA game I've not finished, I won't be rushing out to buy this come April unlike I was with all the previous GTA games. I hope I am wrong and it is a true next gen game but from my early impressions it's just not the case.

Its Balls TBH why it can't come out on ps2. I think then can "Tone down" the graphics. The fact is I want a PS3 but at the moment my family is hitting some financial trouble. It took me 3 years to save up for a ps2, and 4 to buy an XBOX. I cant afford the "360's" And "PS3's". Its all the new consols like the "Wii" that make me realise that its just too much. Its really bad as most people I know have a ps2 but no 360 or PS3. I did a study at my school who has an XBOX360 and/or A Ps3 and results are as follows:

360 1 IN 30
PS3 1 IN 21
BOTH 1 IN 66
