EA conference call reveals new format for music title
CVG reports that Electronic Arts has confirmed Rock Band is coming to Nintendo’s Wii.
EA CEO John Riccitiello revealed the information during the question-and-answer session of the company’s third-quarter conference call, referring to the “coming launch” of a Wii version of the game.
Last year, Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos said he hoped to see the game appear on Nintendo’s platform.
According to EA, Rock Band has sold 1.5 million units since its launch in North America on Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3.
The publisher has yet to reveal a firm release date for the game.
