February 22nd release for much-anticipated FPS
The long-awaited release date for the PS3 version of Midway’s Unreal Tournament III has finally been set in stone, according to CVG.
Both leading retailers and publisher Midway have confirmed a February 22nd release according to the site, but a date for the Xbox 360 version of the title is yet to be set.
Unreal Tournament III is the futuristic update to the much-loved FPS series, representing the franchise’s debut on next-gen systems. It was developed by Epic Games, using its latest Unreal Engine III.

I know its out in the USA on the PS3 and has been for a couple of months now hasnt it? So I assume after the long wait this is now the Europe release date?
Its a shame Sony just dont let loose the Dual Shock 3 pads so you can enjoy such a game that much more with rumble.

Yes! Can't wait for what is going to be one of the best games of 2008! I've seen it running and it puts the graphics on Gears of **** to shame.

It must feel so good to finally be able to laugh at the 360 gamers for having to wait for a game that will be available on PS3 first?!
The only problem is, it might put the graphics of GOW to shame but when UT3 is actually released over here, GOW will be almost 2 years old.
I be a bit gutted if it didnt look better, wouldnt you?!
Also, the 360 gamers only have to wait until Christmas to play this, however, the first GOW is exclusive to 360 (and PC) so PS3 gamers can wait for as long as they want and they'll NEVER get to play that.
I'm not so sure this is something you should be laughing about....?
P.S I'm not a 360 'fanboy' and I hate GOW. Just wanted to make a point.

The game looks better than Gears Of War but not hugely of course its inevitable games will get better graphically and GoW was Epics first Unreal Engine 3 based game for the Xbox 360 and still is pretty damn good looking.
This game will be on the 360 as well so no need to get all defensive and stupid.
