3.5 million unique UK users visit the site according to ABC audit
GameSpot UK is now attracting more than 3.5 million unique users within the UK each month, according to an audit conducted by ABC Electronics in December.
The figure is the highest in GameSpot UK history, with the vast majority of users accounting for the sites audience.
“The gaming industry has seen explosive growth over the last 12 months, with new game launches such as Halo 3 far outstripping the majority of film openings in terms of first-day sales,” said GameSpot UK site manager Laura Jenner.
“The UK gaming community is highly passionate and our experienced editorial team is dedicated to delivering the kind of targeted, in-depth and knowledgeable content that this community has come to expect. This audit confirms GameSpot UK’s position as the interactive gaming community of choice within the UK, and we look forward to building on this success further in 2008.”
