Motormouth strikes again

Everybody listens to Rein's opinion. Well! That's because there is no other choice. He's talking all the time. Even in his sleep he's trying to tell everybody what he thinks about everything. He never stops. Even, if you ask him to. If at least he was right once, say, out of two.

You know what Rein?! We don't care about what you think! Keep it to yourself!

I agree, I have to say from what I have read of his comments he is very big headed and almost seems to contradict himself on some occassions.

No way do I believe that EPIC is worth anywhere near $1billion let alone $2billion!!

There games arent that amazing and after only releasing gears of war which was very sucessful he now believes that the company is worth that much? I have to laugh here...I mean at him.

1 b$ ? Mark, you must be kidding. If they offer 1b$, take the money...and run. If Epic's worth 1/4 of that, than only to a Microsoft and only to disable the competition of the use of their (very average) middleware. Just think of how much Criterion was bought by EA (including a great franchise, Burnout) !

Mark Rein Pioneered online gaming when you kids were an inch in your mums knickers. He was right about the indutry then and still is NOW and his influence covers HALF of games made.
as for the value of EPIC well what price on the best video ga*****ngine in the world, Sure UT 3 is a massive let down but EPIC make ga*****ngines primarily UT is just the showcase. The list of Unreal based games is like whos who of the gaming industry, With many top titles all based on UE3 Its the only developer platform to provide dx10 quality graphics on ALL FORMATS. Id say they are worth more than you think. your thinking they are a video game producer.
Gears of War, BioShock, Rainbow six, Ghost recon, MoH, Turok, Americas Army, Halo, End War, Brothers In Arms, Huxley, MassEffect .
The list of Unreal based games is endless THAT is worth way more than $1billion

@5

Yep, you're right. To say Epic is about Gears of War and nothing else simply highlights ignorance. It's all about the engine.
