Of course GOW2 will double its sales - the Xbox360 user base will have more than doubled so it won't be difficult.

Resistance will easily sell 5 million copies worldwide. R2 can infact sell 5 million in europe alone . As for x360 that is not possible since by the release of r2 ps3 will have 2x/3x the userbase as x360. 60% of x360s purchased in europe were traded in for either wii/ps3.R2 will sell 5 million in europe and another 4/5million in USA.

Gears 2 will sell only 400 000 /500000 in europe and 4m/5m in USA.

so resistance has every chance of selling 2x as much as Gears worldwide since x360 doesnt exist in europe/japan. It used to exist in UK but after the demise of HD DVD it is finished.

People if you are unaware let me remind you that PS3 outsold x360 last month (january) in UK. It ran neck and neck with x360 in XMAS. x360's lone battleground UK has now fallen and ps3 sales have increased by 2x after the Blu Ray victory

DMC4 sold 2x as much on ps3 vs x360. any multiplat game starting last august,2007 have sold more on the ps3. x360's userbase in europe has shrunk to 3 million from 4.5 million last year.

Both Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 will sell more than GOW2 in terms of worldwide sales.

PS3 went on to beat x360 in USA last month too.By the time of KZ2 launch PS3 will have have sold 2x/3x as much in europe.

This will be interesting, I have played resistance 1 and will most likely get 2 however, only a couple of my friends have PS3's with the majority owning 360's and of all the people with 360's only one will be getting gears 2. I personally think that they will sell equal or Resistance 2 will win, I don't think GoW2 will win.
