Kotick says a massively playable version of the shooter would be a ‘natural evolution’ for the series
Speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology Conference in California, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has spoken of his firm’s newfound MMO ambitions following its merger with Blizzard-owning publisher Vivendi-owned.
After again stating that it would take a huge financial effort to usurp World of Warcraft from its global MMO throne, Gamespot reports that Kotick then went on to discuss a possible online future for Call of Duty:
"When you think about other properties that we own and control like Call of Duty, and what would be the natural evolution of a property like Call of Duty into a massively multiplayer environment.”

yawn
if its going to be anything like warcraft - forget it! 'Run to field, kill 10 soldiers'...repeat until totally bored.
We just want them to continue the brilliant series but not as an MMO
Re: yawn
I think this would be great sideline to the FPS that already exists but as a replacement, I'm not so sure.....
