Specialist games site recruits marketing veteran to oversee new department

IGN has appointed Brad Ramsey as senior vice president of marketing for its new marketing group.

Ramsey joins the company from Yahoo, having worked as vice president of marketing. Ramsey has also worked at eBay.

“I'm delighted to announce that on March 17th, Brad Ramsey will fill that role and join us as the SVP of marketing for IGN Entertainment” said general manager Roy Bahat.

“Brad, who will report to me and be based in Brisbane, will oversee all of our consumer marketing and work with each of the major functions at IGN to strengthen our brands, acquire and retain audiences, and generally promote IGN Entertainment's services as aggressively as possible.”

I personally dont trust this web site, ive often noticed they are very very bias towards Xbox 360. Its all about Halo and Gears of war, often ive read negative comments about Sony, what about 360's red light issue, xbox live £40, ps3 free,
120 gig hard drive £130 gig, PS3 harddrive 120gig £70.
The reviews on ps3 games are always very harsh, crackdown was given a large score but said it was a short game, another ps3 game was maked down for being short !!but streets ahead of crackdown. Maybe its an American thing ??or does microsoft own then ?
