
Shelley Dowsett to oversee Intent portfolio including GMAs, MCV Awards, Develop Awards and MCV Industry Pub Quiz
Following the launch last year of the Games Media Awards, Intent Media has hired its first in-house events manager.
Shelley Dowsett joins from leading conference and exhibitions company Forum Events.
She will be responsible for the Games Media Awards 2008, plus a growing portfolio which already includes the MCV Industry Excellence Awards, Develop Awards, Mobile Entertainment Awards, PC Retail Awards, ME Meet-Up, MCV Industry Pub Quiz and more.
"Intent prides itself on integrated B2B brands which connect with their readers online, in print and in person. Events are a key part of our continued growth plan and we are delighted to have attracted someone of the experience and quality of Shelley," commented Intent boss Stuart Dinsey.
