UK CHARTS: Army of Two makes it to one

EA’s original IP knocks Sega’s Olympic success into second place

Three new entries in the All Formats Top Ten this week, as EA’s Army of Two blasts into top position.

It marks the first original IP from EA to take the top spot since Black two years ago.

Nintendo’s Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training falls one place, following its appearance in a special hardware bundle last month. Whereas Bully returns to the top 10, this time on Wii and 360, holding firm in fourth place.

The astonishing success of Game Party continues, rising into seventh place, and is the only Top ten title to have increased in sales this week.

Other new entries includes THQ’s PC expansion pack Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Soulstorm at number eight, THQ MX Vs ATV Untamed at 18th, ahead of Koei’s Dynasty Warriors 6 at 19th.

Very good game except for the stunningly bad online game experience (at least for the PS3 version).

Er, PS3 version runs perfect online, at least it was for me. I ended up taking it back the next day because it's just a really bad game. Way too repetitive. No demo's pre-release, no marketing campaign.

It just goes to show how saught after co-op play it, the game i feel is fairly well made, they aren't the best out there but the co-op play is fantastic and i think is the real selling point. There aren't enough split screen co-op games out there, i'd lather them all up.

PC isnt dead

Proof if it ever was needed, that the PC market is NOT dead. Dawn of War entering as a single format at number 8 is a superb achievement for a 4 year old title. PC gamers WILL buy decent hardcore games, when given the chance

I have heard from a few people and my friend says the game is utter garbage and me and him usually agree on games that we feel are not that good.

If you notice the USA version does not say anything after the game when online on the 360 - the European version says :

Currently Playing: Army Of Two: (EU)

Meaning European version...So no chance of playing anyone outside of Europe, EA sure know how to not let everyone play together and its one of the reasons why many like myself hate EA.

There is no reason to hate EA. It is only due to the games buying public that they are successful, Chuck.
