No fool, you can download it from the marketplace which will be released around april along with this new SKU which will include a CODE for the map pack, its not hard to understand

The map pack will be released for PS3 in April, there just won't be a 'Game of the Year' edition for PS3. So both machines will get the same. Xbox 360 users (mugs) will have the choice to buy just the map pack or the spend another £40 on the new sku. It's not that hard.

Get a PC ! there are tons of excellent new maps made by the community and their free, you also dont have to pay to play online ! Not to mention the mouse/keyboard versus controller controls :D

PS3 bitching about COD4 better than 360 because of graphics...But you PUSSTHRA owner's had to wait (a bloody long time) for the on-line multiplayer because you didnt have a server to support it and you still have to wait again to enjoy the intencity (god I'm going to have so much fun) of new on-line maps. Don't got me wrong, i did enjoy seeing sweet beeds dipping from the forhead of Drogba (FIFA 08) on PS3. But that doesnt compensate compared to the vast amount of game's avalible on 360 which the graphic's aint that far behind. And dissing down the XBOX controller? Come on!!! The PS3 controller feels like a PS1 controller and I felt like it was going to break in my hand, + NO RUMBLE....What the hell is that all about. With Rumble packs in controller's being about for a number of year's for so many game's that PS3 has lost that Dimention to gameing which is all so important....

The PS3 version comes out 21 days later as Micro$oft has bribed yet another company for timed exclusivity. Guess we will just have to make do with GT5 Prologue for a while instead. You won't see that on the RROD machine.

God you lot are sad. I have both PS3 and Xbox360 and there is no doubt in my mind that the Xbox is better for games and PS3 for video. i swapped my 360 for PS3 and i must say im not displeased the 360 delivers more superior multi platform games whereas PS3 delivers more superior exclusives. i mean come on MGS4 is a game to turn anyone to the dark side and in my opinion i say leave the multi platform RROD machine and celebrate 20 years of badass boss battles and intense story with the 1 and only solid snake!!!!!!!!

Can I just ask as to why no one is actually able to type properly? You may need to pay for the maps on PS3, but the latest UT3 maps (which by the way is not on that god-forsaken piece of siht bit of plastic called a xbox circle) were free, but resistance maps were not free. Activision will probably want to take a bit more money from people. But even though they are released slightly after the xbox, we, at least have decent games. The games the xbox has are to be honest pathetic. People only say gears of war this and halo that. Thats about it. Forza is okish, same for PGR. I only like good games, like GT5 not sure about you xbox fanboys that want to bum bill gates just so he can sign your 360.

X-Box got the maps before us because they pay for online play... Not because X-box owns. **** they're just gaming systems, you guys make it sounds like you **** your console because you love them. Ps3 is getting them Monday, april 21st.

ok its simple. ppl make games for both consoles, WHY because its cheaper.
yet in 2 years the breeze block will have reached its capacity while the PS3 aint even getting scratched.
so to summerize, in a year get a PS3 and the then get ya Xbox and use the Xbox for its true perpose, frying eggs on, or use it as a portable heater, either way it will still have a use.
and your saying Sony messed up with the release dates of the PS3, that was a scam so that Xbox would be rushed out to compete, and bill gates fell for it hook line and sinker.
most games are coming out now over 8gig, this is to much for a duel layer disk, however if you got a Blu-ray player then you can with stand 20gig games, some crafty planning by sony dont you think, should you xbox owners want the same then get you little HD-DVD add on player, which at £100 are you REALLY gunna bother??????
as for the PS3 controller, 1) a design everyone in the world is used to using (if it aint broke dont fix it) 2) it bluetooth and wont fry my brains like you wi-fi crap.

but all in all the PS3 aint as easy to code as the xbox, rememer 360 runs same coding as xbox1, they only just learning how to boost there potential on PS3. also remember 360 runs 1 hdtv on interlace scan, ps3 can run 2 at progressive, thats 4x more output graphics power.
now for the gameplay arguement, keep quiet PS3 ppl, these breezeblock owners have never heard of FINAL FANTASY, yeah squireenix take there time, but hey aint perfection worth waiting for. i mean ppl where thinking FFXII was due for 360 release when they saw the cut scenes, yet this was a PS2 yes PS2 game, all i will say is your next xbox will have to learn to dance or get off the dancefloor this aint 1999.
last fact PS2 was selling for 8 years befor ps3 hit the shops, xbox gets released every 4 years, whats that say, to me that says xbox 5 will be out long befor a NEED for a PS4,
