Haze officially dated

Free Radical’s original first person shooter to hit European shelves on May 22nd

Ubisoft has revealed to MCV the release date for PS3 exclusive Haze, the latest game from Timesplitters creators Free Radical Design.

The game was delayed from last Christmas, where it was billed as a major release for PlayStation 3. It will now hit retail on May 22nd, with rumours circulating that a 360 version may also be coming later in the year.

The news means Free Radical can turn its attention to Timesplitters 4, which was announced through the company’s website last year.

It is indeed dated.
A boring, tired, dated, nothing new first person shooter.
Oh, and it's extremely late, so late in fact as to have missed the boat amongst the sea of first person shooters, all of which I am now totally and utterly sick of.
No sale to me you chumps.

ur a douche bag

you obviously havent read much about this game as it will have a bunch of new features which havent been seen before. I hate it when people make uninformed comments.

Now now, lets not get into a geek fight (im one so dont flame), peoples glasses may break.

Haze is a FPS, so on that front it joins 1000000 others (point to #1) but it does bring lots of other new and interesting new features to the plate (point to #2). Im gonna guess that it will be average, gamespy will give it a 3 1/2 or maybe a 4 and PSM3 will give it around 75/80%. It wont set the world alight, but it is a PS3 exclusive so Sony will push it like its the best game ever.

But on the bright side GT4: Prologue is out today! £17.99 on play.com also.....

@3 I doubt it'll be average with 4 player online co-op! I think it'll be right up there with COD4 and Bioshock, Plus its coming from the creators who specialise in the FPS genre!

I think Haze is the 1st true triple A to hit the PS3...its the only reason why Ive got one (well and also for MGS and Tekken)

Finally a set Date!
