(UPDATED) Still now known when digital version of Polyphony Digital’s PS3 racer will arrive
Though consumers have since this morning been able to buy next-gen racing taster Gran Turismo 5 Prologue from the High Street, the PSN version of the title is still missing in action.
The download was supposed to arrive on Sony’s PlayStation Network yesterday, along with a demo of EA’s UEFA 2008 and the new trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV.
However, a Sony rep has confirmed that “last minute technical difficulties” have so far prevented the content arriving online.
It is not known when the game will arrive as of yet, though Sony says it is currently “working on the issue”.
UPDATE - GT5 Prologue is now live on PSN. A Sony statement reads: "We would like to apologise for the lack of a PS Store refresh yesterday. As previously mentioned, we unfortunately experienced some last minute technical difficulties and were unable to publish the new content as planned.
"However, we have been working hard to resolve these issues and are pleased to be able to let you know that the… content is now live on the UK store."
