Konami-controlled firm targets huge revenue growth in three years
HudsonSoft is expecting to increase profits to 10 billion Yen by March 2011, a growth of nearly 400 per cent.
According to Bloomberg, The Bomberman studio plans to increase focus on Wii, with eight new games due this year.
“Two years from now will be the time when game-software developers' profits are expected to grow the most, after the winner and loser for consoles becomes clear,'' said Hudson's in-coming president Michihiro Ishizuka.
“I will ensure earnings jump in the next three years by promoting licensing of our games and increasing spending on promotions.''
Hudson’s operating profit rose 53 per cent to 2.7 billion yen in this year ended March 31st,, an increase from the two billion Yen forecasted. Hudson claims the increase is down to stronger than expected game sales for Wii and DS.

The Metal Gear Solid developer and publisher, Konami, owns a majority stake in Hudson, which is most famous for the Bomberman, Harvest Moon and Mario Party franchises.
