EA’s music title to arrive on 360 in spring; other platforms later in the summer
Rock Band will be released in the Europe on May 23rd, with the Xbox 360 enjoying an exclusive launch window.
Electronic Arts has also revealed that Wii, PS2 and PS3 versions of the game will arrive later in the Summer.
The music title received much critical acclaim when it was released last year in the US, and the European version is set to receive nine new tracks spanning German, French and UK hits. These include:
Blur ‘Beetlebum’ (English)
Oasis ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’ (English)
Muse ‘Hysteria’ (English)
Tokio Hotel ‘Monsoon’ (English)
Die Toten Hosen ‘Hier Kommt Alex’ (English)
Juli ‘Perfekte Welle’ (English)
H-Block X ‘Countdown to Insanity’ (English)
Las Wampas ‘Menu Chao’ (English)
Playmo ‘New Wave’ (English)
EA has confirmed that all the downloadable content available in the US can be purchased in Europe as of May 27th. Each track will be priced at 160 Microsoft Points, and all future DLC will be made available simultaneously with the US on a weekly basis.

Finally a date! A little earlier than I realisticly hoped for as well and the DLC at the same time. Today is a good day!

Yeah.. it's a tad expensive...
