The PSP was boosted by the release of Capcom’s hugely popular Monster Hunter Freedom 2G.

Elsewhere in the market, Nintendo’s Wii trounced quasi-rival PS3 with sales of 265,542 – Sony sold 81,579 consoles in the period. Both, however, were way ahead of Microsoft Xbox 360 which sold of 13,127.

All this proves is that Sony is not having it their way this time around.

A shame really, because it's all their own making.

Well its only taken the PSP three years to get these sales, but I don't think Sony are worried about their PS3 sales cause they know that some really awesome games are coming out for it that will boost its sales.
