Codemasters looks outside the industry for help with future racing projects
Codemasters has revealed an industry crossing agreement with Realtime Technology, a leading provider of high-end visualisation technology to the automotive industry. The two will share tech and expertise for upcoming developments.
Realtime Technology AG (RTT) provide 3D realtime rendering and visualisation technologies, and tools that enable car designers to render CAD models in realtime. Their world famous clients including Adidas, Audi, BMX, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and many others.
Ludwig A Fuchs, co-founder and member of the RTT AG Management Board, commented: “Together we can push forward the boundaries of the 3D realtime visualisation market.”
Codemasters use their EGO Game Technology Engine in the titles Colin McRae:DiRT and Race Driver: GRID, with an advanced graphics and physics technology that brings cinematic quality and realism to interactive entertainment.
