Nintendo unveils new baseball game complete with Wii Remote controls
Nintendo has unveiled Mario Super Sluggers, a new Wii sports title due for release later in the year.
The firm revealed the game at its San Francisco media summit, and boasts controls similar to those seen in Wii Sports. The game is designed to bridge the gap between casual and core gamers, with simple play mechanics and added depth for the more hardcore player.
The game is currently scheduled for a June release in Japan, however no date has been confirmed for Europe or North America.

Re: Release
when will the super mario sluggers come out in the UK. It's not fair that Japan and the US get it before we do. If it does nit come out during this month (currently November), or next month (December), then i migh file a complaint to Nintendo UK.It says on Wikipedia that Austrailia is TBC. That TBC has been there for 4 months now, and Europe says TBA, that's also been there for 4 months. It's not fair. please choose a release. preferbly December 2008. It doesn't take that long to announce the Date Of Release or for the games to be shiped from Japan to UK (Europe) Please Hurry. I'm really looking forward to this game...
