DC Comics has announced a brand new comic book series based on Sierra’s eagerly awaited video game, Prototype.
DC Comics, the largest English language comic book publisher in the word, already has a successful line up of best-selling comics based on licensed properties.
Hank Kanalz, VP & General Manager for WildStorm, a division of DC said: “We’re blown away with what Sierra and developer Radical Entertainment have shown us of Prototype, and know with absolute certainty that this will make for a terrific comic book.”
Prototype is set to debut in August on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The open-world adventure features a shape shifting anti-hero in New York City circa 2008, offering gamers the choice between blending in with the population or unleashing the anti-hero’s powers.
