...sure it's not brain surgery... but it'd be easier for you to go out and get an xbox360 and another copy of the game than to program for the ps3 and put split screen on it.

Why bother? It was a huge failure on the PC, thanks in part to the massive amounts of bug which have not been fixed. Now Epic nolonger support this title on the PC platform, and have focused their efforts on Gears of War 2. Unless Epic knows what they did wrong, Gears of War 2 will also recive the same cold welcome.
