Jack Thompson hits out at Take Two boss

Jack Thompson, vocal games critic, writes letter to Take Two chairman’s mother, accusing him of “unleashing porn and violence”

In a letter addressed to the mother of Strauss Zelnick, lawyer Jack Thompson has likened the Take Two boss to a member of the Hitler Youth – and blamed GTA for the death of three policemen in Alabama.

The outspoken critic also accused GTA of being a murder simulator. The letter make a baffling list of claims against Zelnick and the games industry in general, whilst quoting the Bible.

A legal injunction limits Thompson’s direct contact with the Take Two boss.

The full letter can be read here on www.shacknews.com

What does this sad little man have missing from his life that he seeks to ruin games for people? He accuses Zelnick of pushing mature rated games into the hands of children. Now, this may just be my experience, but I have never seen anything GTA related that pushes it towards children. Sure, younger audiences may see adverts aimed at adults, but to go to the ludicrous lengths of exaggeration that Thomson does? Talk about a serious chip on his shoulder.

He is way out of line on this one. People like this normally have something wrong with them. Like hiding children under their homes. If anything shows children about death, it is their own curiosity.

He needs a lawyer

Mrs Zelnick could always consider legal action on the grounds of harrassment and slander. Thompson is an utter complete embarrassment even to the most persistent ambulance chaser. Hopefully, the action being taken against him at this time (for the number of actions that he has attempted to bring) will result in his licence to practice being taken away.
Considering that this comes from a man that threatened Penny Arcade with a lawsuit when they paid a sum to charity that he had promised (he claimed that he was joking), this is well and truly the final straw.

Thompson's a fraud!

What a fraud this Thompson clown is. You know its only a matter of time before his sicknesses reveal themselves in the form of some boys locked up in the cellar. Another GOP fraud intentionally pimping lies and evangelical delusions in America?? What a surprise (gag)

I think that Jack Thompson is a viral marketing campaign thought up by the marketing people at Take Two. They deserve some of those self congratulatory industry awards for this one.
