Dragon-led family franchise to return this October

Sierra used its Spring Break event in Mallorca last week to demonstrate its new Spyro title.

The game will be released on PS3, 360, Wii PS2 and DS in October, and has been developed by Etranges Libellules.

Billed as the concluding chapter in the trilogy started with The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, this title features God of War style-combat, co-op play and a list of voice talent that would easily compare to a Hollywood blockbuster. Elijah Wood, Gary Oldman, Christina Ricci and Luke Skywalker himself Mark Hamill have all been drafted in to offer their skills, but not for the last time – although it’s the last Spyro title of this particular trilogy, don’t think it’s the lkast we’ll see of the little fella…
