
Up-to-date sales figures revealed by SCEE president at Sony event
Sony has unveiled up-to-date sales figures for its PlayStation ‘family’ in PAL territories – revealing that PS3 has hit the 5 million mark.
In addition, the PSP has sold 12 million units in PAL regions – the bulk of which are made up of Europe and Australia, as well as the Middle East and Africa.
To date, the PS2 has sold 48 million units in the territories.
The data was announced this afternoon at at Sony’s annual PlayStation Day, which is this year taking place at the O2 Arena's Indigo room in South East London.
