EA announces Fight Night Round 4

Boxing title – including Mike Tyson character – will return on Xbox 360 and PS3 next year
Electronics Arts will bring the fourth in its Fight Night series to Xbox 360 and PS3 next year.
The title is being developed at EA Canada in Vancouver under the EA Sports brand and features some of the greatest boxers in history fighting in their prime – including Mike Tyson.
“The EA Sports Fight Night franchise has always been synonymous with quality and innovation that raised the bar for the sports videogame genre”, said Kevin Wilkinson, Executive Producer, EA Sports.
“EA Sports Fight Night Round 3 was a platform defining game as the industry transitioned to next generation consoles. EA Sports Fight Night Round 4 will change how boxing games are played and measured in the future.”
The game is being built with an all-new physics-based animation system, which EA says ‘recreates the full spectrum of true-to-life punch impacts, giving boxers a devastating arsenal of punches, blocks and ring movement’.

That's great news and I hope that they make all aspects of the game realistic not just the gameplay but the other features like the career mode. They can come to me if they need some input being the avid boxing fan that I am :)

Yeah great news. Round 3 shocked me with its competitive but fun AI. 1 is right, a more in-depth career mode would be great but I'm sure thats already on their list of things to do.

No way - Fight Night 3 is the only game I have 1000 achievement points for!

Got to have 2 player career mode. Imagine both players creating fighters in the same weight class and at some point both fighters meeting each other either as an eliminator, for the title or as a title defence. And how about reintroducing being able to move up in weight (Maybe down as well within reason) but doing it properly you could have a player moving up or down to avoid fighting someone buyt the other fighter following suit in order to force the fight.
One more thing getting stripped or vacating the title.
I should get out more :)
