Leading specialist retailer comes out on top at latest Xbox 360-sponsored event
The industry’s finest minds descended upon AKA Bar in Holborn last night to go head to head for the crown of MCV/Xbox 360 pub quiz champions, with the team from GAME (pictured) scooping the top prize.
Beating off close competition from the likes of Amazon, 505 Games and Sainsbury’s, the team from the trade’s leading specialist retailer now join the select group of champions which includes Konami, EA, Nintendo and EUK.

I never even heard this was going on. And the competition included the likes of Sainsbury’s. Is this newsworthy? And what does it contribute to the industry as a whole?

This is getting quite quite tedious. It was a TRADE event attended by people from the TRADE being reported on about a TRADE magazine. Okay so this story is not giving you an opportunity to bash your most hated console, but it was a bit of fun story covering an event sponsored by MCV.
