Entertainment industry expert Nicholas Lovell shoots from the hip with his handy lessons
As a 15-year veteran of games fiscal analysis, Nicholas Lovell know what he’s talking about: So if you work in the business, it might be a good idea to pay attention to his five lessons our industry can learn from the music business.
Handily split into two manageable parts (read part one here and part two here), Lovell’s piece addresses pricing, the gaming experience and the nature of distribution.
The former chief exec of Gameshadow and founder of Lodestar Partners also talks about brining in profits from secondary sources and letting the consumer set prices – two directives the music industry has only recently come to heed.
