Best Buy – the massive US electronics retail chain with a large games selection – is set for a massive expansion into the UK and the rest of Europe next year.
The news follows a deal between the chain and The Carphone Warehouse, which has sold 50 per cent of its European and US retail interests to Best Buy for £1.1 billion

Good news.
We could well be doing with another competitor in the market. It's really only down to two companies; the Dixons Group and Comet. Dixons Group owns Dixons, Currys AND PC World, so another big player (with great backing, obviously) is going to shake things up a lot.
