EUROPEAN CHARTS: GTA IV rules continent

Spain, Germany and Swedish consumers powerless to Rockstar’s charms as title hits No1
With GTA IV smashing entertainment records to hit six million sales in its first week, it’s little surprise that the title has taken the top spot in all formats charts in Spain, Germany and Sweden.
According to Next-gen.Biz, the PS3 version took the No.1 spot in Spain and Germany for the nine day period ended May 7th, whilst the Xbox 360 version ruled the roost in Sweden.

PLEASE NOTE :- PS3 version of GTA4 outsold the x360 version even after being SUPPLY CONSTRAINED in EUROPE

PS3 version of GTA4 has outsold the x360 version in europe. PS3 version has come on top in France/Spain/Germany /Italy and most other EU regions. x360 version came out on top in UK but that wasnt enough to stem the PS3 version from outselling the x360 version in other major parts of europe
Just to let others be reminded that PS3 has surpassed X360's LTD in europe

Haha. Are those links supposed to support your claims? Are you a Sony salesperson? You provide nothing to backup your rambling.
If you bought the PS3 version of this game and could actually play it without freezing I hope you all enjoy your sub-HD quality game(640p) with no Anti-Aliasing only available on the Playstation 3. LOL!
Oh yeah and just to let others be reminded the Playstation 3 is still in last place! and your still waiting...

I'm from Sweden and can confirm that you can't find a store that have the PS3 version of GTAIV anywhere in sweden!

i own both consoles,.. AA is missing from X360 what are you talking about?
i mean even the details are more blurry, sub standard HD? is this guy in cookoo land? the ps3 just won the HD war and the format war god u little fanboy.
glad i own both console and can say thers hardly any difference in the games, all thats different that i see is the sound sounds better on x360 and the gfx are definetly better on ps3 no doubt, i prefer to play gta on ps3 than the xbox its just plain better as i have both consoles i can truly compare.

lol, the fanboy wars are everywhere. Does MS and Sony give you an e-cookie everytime you defend them.
At any rate, it's a good game that deserves the sales. I hope MGS 4 does well as well.

Does the GTA IV console bundle also exist on the continent? Are these figures included in week one sales?
Sony has had to buy them to bundle with the machines but console sales are tracked differently (well in the UK they are).
