SKATE 2 coming to 360 and PS3

EA confirms title is ‘in development’ for next-gen systems

Electronic Arts has confirmed that the second iteration of popular skateboarding title SKATE is in development for PS3 and Xbox 360.

However, the publisher hasn’t released any information regarding release date or price for SKATE 2.

The news came as EA announced that it will release the next SKATE game, SKATE It, on Nintendo formats – and that gamers can play it on the Wii Balance Board.

If Skate 2 is confirmed for next gen consoles then why is it coming out on only the "WII" and "DS" as stated? They aren't even considered "next gen" consoles? The statement is kind of confusing, if they're going to state that it's coming out on next gen consoles then continue the statement with the words "xbox 360" or "PS3".....not the Wii, like I said the Wii is not a next gen console, guess i'm gonna have to do a little bit more searching to find out if it is coming out on the xbox 360.

actually the game coming out for the wii and ds is a different title to the next gen one. the one for the nintendo consoles is being called a new title because they are using the different control methods the consoles allow. skate 2 will hopefully be more than just a small tweaking of the orignal game, but it being EA who knows?

i think skate 2 would be a great idea. i think they should make it more real! more greater skater such as .. Rodney Mullen .. Ryan Sheckler Etc . You Should also be able to ride a 'BMX' it would just be great to ride the suburbs in a bike, all the gaps and sets it would be wicked. Nighttime skating would also be good but most ov all the clothing!!!! what the hell is with the hats from skate ther is just no style wat so ever the should have a setting wer u can rotate/tilt your hat and should have more barand like: Vans, Capix, Pro tec And Rbk . Thats all from me i am - ODRISCO Ranked #12 on Ea Skates - S.K.A.T.E !
