Wii Fit drops out of UK Top 40

Nintendo title nosedives from No.2 as it fails to dent this week’s full chart

Nintendo’s phenomenal-selling Wii Fit has had the worst week of its existence in the UK – dropping all the way out of the ChartTrack/ELSPA All Formats top 40.

The spectacular drop – likely due to stock issues at retail – has seen the game slide from second position last week, a drop of more than 38 positions.

The game registered 15th position in ChartTrack's Wii single-format chart.

Last week, the game ruled the Spanish charts - even reclaiming the top spot from GTA IV.

This is one of many mess ups Nintendo have made, I am a huge fan of the company but it upsets me too think that in thier finest hour they would screw up so badly. I get asked for this title at least 5 times a day and I absolutely hate turning people away. GET IT SORTED NINTENDO

Same here, turning away lots of customers. I'm getting rather tired of saying the same thing. Some Mario Kart wont go amiss...

Useless gits.

Firstly:

"Likely due to stock issues at retail"

Really?! How astute of you.

Secondly:

Why are Nintendo continuing with T.V adverts for Wii Fit, when none are available?

I've seen it twice so far during 1/2hr of Britains got talent!

I will be now be asked for wii fit 20 times tomorrow instead of the 15 I was today. Cheers Nintendo.

Nintendo should be forced to remove their adverts from TV as they simply can't supply the stock. False advertising? Could be.

This whole nintendo not supplying enough stock thing is getting very old very fast. At first i thought it was a clever marketing campaign of supply and demand but the longer it goes on the more incompetent it makes nintendo seem. I love nintendo, don't have a Wii but my DS keeps me sane on the trip to and from work, but i don't buy any of this we can't make enough of them crap.

the reason is they only have one factory making all their stock and that they do it on purpose
