Publisher reveals it is developing casual titles for Apple devices

Ubisoft is the latest major games publisher to confirm that it will provide content for Apple’s iPod and iPhone.

The news was revealed by executive producer of casual games at Ubisoft Pauline Jacquey in a full interview with MCV sister site CasualGaming.biz.

I hate when big companies do this.

Yes there is money in "casual gaming" but thats were the smaller up and coming companies should be. I hate when the big fish have a go because we don't need another clone of breakout, I don't care if you have added cute characters or funky music ... the big companies don't take any risks and stagnate that area of gaming. Let the smaller companies be ingenius and innovative and the bigger companies can watch and maybe evn learn a few new tricks instead of re-using the old ones.

Either make a big splash or get out of the pool :)
