Wii Fit girl video has nothing to do with us, says Nintendo
Nintendo has denied being responsible for a voyeuristic YouTube video that shows a young lady gyrating to Wii Fit’s Hula Hoop game, according to a full page report in the Metro newspaper.
The video clip entitled ‘Why Every Guy Should Buy Their Girlfriend A Wii Fit’ was filmed by advertiser Giovanny Gutierrez, and has received nearly two million hits in two weeks.
However, a Nintendo spokesman has denied responsibility for the film stating to the Metro:
“This is absolutely, 100 per cent nothing to do with Nintendo. Nintendo did not create it and were not aware of it until it was brought to our attention.”
Other videos based on the theme have already cropped up, including ‘Wii Fit Hula Hoop Game Makes You Look Stupid’.

Mm
I'd say Giovanny was a genius but lets face it, it's so blisteringly obvious people would love to watch that and probably invest in the Wii Fit itself (if you could actually buy one that is...) Nintendo just can't afford to use something that seedy as an ad campaign, how great for them that they can deny it yet make sales from it.
Re: Mm
i think most of the people who are bigging this up need to get out more....
im a straight male, but lets face it, its a back shot of a girl, in big knickers and a T shirt waving her ass about..... big deal you can see that and more on any music video channel, Or on youtube or anywhere on the net
this is why gamers get the GEEK tag
go watch a rap video or something theyre always waving asses about, and usually have a lot less on than her...
CHILDREN!!! GET OUT MORE!!!!
Re: Re: Mm
You're right in saying you can see it on MTV or YouTube and that's exactly the point. You don't see thinks like this as part of a big company like Nintendo's advertising campaign.
The reason it got press coverage (if you read The Metro headline) was to query whether this was a guerilla marketing ploy by Nintendo, not because everyone likes to watch girls dance in minimal clothing, that's a given, and that's also the fact it's got so many hits.
You kinda missed the point mate, but it's ok, at worst you've convinced everyone your straight, haven't you?
Re: Re: Re: Mm
I love women me....
Re: Re: Re: Re: Mm
Bazzza is completely correct! The girl isn't even hot, she wears glasses and has frizzy hair. Her figure is completely average.
No way was this an ad campaign by Nintendo; they'd have used a hot girl if it was.
And besides, the video may have got 2 million hits, but it was probably the same sad gaming freaks watching it over and over, not 2 million *unique* hits.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Mm
I wish more women had her "average" figure, more and more people are becoming overweight due to our sedentary overindulgent lifestyle.
And I find your comment about how she isn't hot because she wears glasses rather strange, does that mean any women who wear glasses whether all day or only for a little while are ugly then?
Re: I'm not ***!
My bird wears spec's she is fit! Has big boobs small bum! she knows im not *** LOL
I dont think the girl is that bad. out of 10 i would give her 1!
Why do some ppl moan so much and news storys?!
Re: Re: I'm not ***!
Cant i say G a y anymore? first radio1 now mcv!
Re: Re: Re: homosexual
homosexual just checking?!
:(
Zildjian seems to be the only one who gets this story. Its about marketing, its NOT about whether or not the girl is fit or we are geeks or whether she has a nice ass.
Did Nintendo do it ... probably not.
Do they wish they thought of it first ... HELL YEAH THEY DO
