New Shaun the Sheep mini-game compilation on the way to Nintendo DS
Award-winning Aardman animation Shaun the Sheep is set to shuffle onto DS this Christmas courtesy of D3 Publisher.
The game will feature the much-loved characters from the series (including Shaun, Shirley, Timmy and Bitzer), along with areas and items based on the series. It’s also set to include touch screen and microphone support, along with a host of mini-games to accompany the main story mode.
“Shaun the Sheep is the only handheld video game based on the show and D3 Publisher has worked very closely with Oscar award-winning Aardman Animation to authentically bring the personality and humour of the series and its characters to life,” commented D3P’s European MD Adam Roberts.
“The pick-up and play gameplay will appeal to players of all ages while delivering the sheep humour the series is known for that adults are sure to enjoy.”
The Shaun the Sheep TV show has been a massive success worldwide, having been sold to 150 countries including the US and Japan.
