40 employees on their way back to Windsor HQ
Publisher Take Two expects to have the majority of its Geneva-based staff back in Windsor by September.
MCV can exclusively reveal that the experiment started by former international boss James Ellingford is now essentially over.
The giant US publisher has had an admin base in Geneva for five years, but chose to centralise a wide range of departments two years ago. Since Ellingford’s departure at the turn of the year, however, current management have taken the view that this wider structure doesn’t work – and never did.
Around 40 staff are on their way back to the UK office in Windsor, as the company continues its rebuilding of operations.
“It’s great news for the staff and the company. People need to be able to talk to each other and be close to the business,” said a source.
“Having the majority of central staff return here is a very smart move.”
Take Two will retain a small presence in Geneva.

Take Two move
I don't know from which source you were informed that around 40 people are happily moving back to the UK, as it is not the case.
In Geneva around 17 people will lose their job and only about 15 will go back to the UK.
All the employees were dismissed for the end of July and were asked to apply for the same job in UK to continue with the company.
For people living in Geneva that will have to move, they won't get the same ex-pat conditions as the people that came to Geneva from UK two years ago.
I could to continue to talk more about the company but I won't, otherwise I'll get in trouble.
