“No current intention” of making another offer after initial approach was rejected in April
Infogrames made an offer for SCi back in April which it believed had “The potential to be significantly value enhancing to both SCi’s and Infogrames shareholders”, but SCi ‘declined to entertain’ the bid.
A clarification sent out to the City this morning confirms that while Infogrames has “no current intention of making any offer for SCi,” the company didn’t rule out a deal entirely, stating that it still reserves the right to table another bid and continue dialogue with SCi if circumstances change in the next six months.
SCi’s future remains uncertain – while it recently raised £60m after media giant Warner raised its stake in the company to 20 per cent, the company continues to be subject to takeover rumours and is undergoing a re-structuring programme that will leave the Britsoft firm ‘more ruthless,’ according to SCi boss Phil Rogers.

What evidence do you have for this? You've provided no links or anything? And how do you know so much about the new TR game?...
