UK CHARTS: Second week at the top for Smash Bros.

Battlefield and LEGO Indiana Jones hold firm at two and three; no new entries in the top ten

It’s ‘as you were’ for the top three in this week’s All Format charts from ESLPA/ChartTrack. Nintendo’s Wii-exclusive Super Smash Bros Brawl claims its second week as the top selling games in the UK, while EA’s Battlefield: Bad Company and LucasArts’ LEGO Indiana Jones are placed in second and thord respectively.

THQ’s Big Beach Sports jumps up one place to fourth this week, while the hype building for the Olympics helps Sega's Beijing 2008 climb four spots to number five and 2K Sports’ Top Spin 3 is helped by high-profile Wimbledon coverage to get boosted up to sixth spot.

New entries this week include Midway’s Unreal Tournament III at 18 after its release on Xbox 360, SCE’s Buzz! Quiz TV in 22nd spot and the two Pokemon Mystery Dungeon SKUs on DS, with Explorers of Time in at 30 and Explorers of Darkness at 35.

So, the ELSPA/ChartTrack All Formats Top Ten for the week ending July 5th 2008 is as follows:

1. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Nintendo)
2. Battlefield: Bad Company (EA)
3. LEGO Indiana Jones (LucasArts)
4. Big Beach Sports (THQ)
5. Beijing 2008 (Sega)
6. Top Spin 3 (2K Sports)
7. Wii Fit (Nintendo)
8. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (Sega)
9. Wii Play (Nintendo)
10. The Bourne Conspiracy (Vivendi)
