Free monthly mini-magazine celebrates online phenomenon
Future is tapping into a rapidly growing online gaming phenomenon with a free monthly magazine, What MMO.
As the name suggests, the 16-page title focuses on MMO games and will be inserted into 150,000 copies of Future’s PC computing and games magazines – including PC Gamer, PC Format, PC Zone and Windows Vista: The Official Magazine.
Publisher for Future’s computing and games portfolios, Richard Keith, said:
“PC gaming is in a massive period of change – with the way people buy, play and respond to games rapidly evolving. Future is adapting its PC portfolio to reflect this fast-moving landscape, with What MMO and our new live event, PC Gamer Showdown at the forefront of our developments.
"What MMO gives Future the chance to give more attention to the rapidly expanding MMO universe – allowing us to connect directly with players and advertisers alike.”

Ha!
What a brilliantly grammatically fudged magazine title. We're not infringin', Mr. Which? sir! Not us!
Re: Ha!
Looks quite retro. Like some old Amiga mag, or ACE, or something.
Re: Re: Ha!
Having the gloriously low-fantasy Conan on the cover will do that to a magazine...
Re: Re: Re: Ha!
Bring back the censored covers that "Crash" magazine used to run for true authenticity lol.
An MMO mag, is that gonna work? I mean will MMO players have time from all that grafting and crafting to scrap their hairy-palmed hands down the round and actually pick up a copy from their local newsagents? :-)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Ha!
If it's about MMO's then that probably will mean a small amount of people will buy huge amounts of the same months magazine then & the publisher will make out every body's buying it!
huh?
I didn't realise there was so many great MMOGs ... oh wait, there isn't. So after the first issues of WoW, Conan and maybe a few others like Guild Wars and the new Diablo what exactly are they going to write about?
