Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil 5 will enjoy a simultaneous global release on March 13th, 2009.
Speaking at Microsoft’s media briefing at E3 this morning, producer of the game Jun Takeuchi also revealed to the crowd that there is to be an online co-op feature built into the game for the first time.
Speaking via a translator Takeuchi said:
“It’s very important for the two people playing together to team up and overcome the various enemies in the game.
“Please hang on a little bit longer and we’ll have it to you very, very shortly.”
