Top global games publisher Activision-Blizzard has announced a number of brand new titles that it has in development – with the headliners being a brand new Wolverine title and a next-gen update to Nazi-hating FPS Wolfenstein.
Despite this week’s news that EA has teamed up with id for the publishing rights to its new FPS Rage, Activision is still in cahoots with the Quake and Doom developer for its upcoming next-gen version of its popular Wolfenstein series.
In addition, a brand new Transformers outing, dubbed Revenge of the Fallen, which will tie-in with the new Paramount movie. There was also news of another movie licence – this time for 20th Century Fox’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Activision also confirmed the existence of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion, which is currently in development.
New developments aside, the publisher’s pre-Christmas release lineup includes the likes of Treyarch’s Call of Duty: World at War, the multi-instrument Guitar Hero World Tour, new Bond tie-in Quantum of Solace and free-roaming superhero romp Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.

I'm looking forward to Wolfenstein, I hope there's more X-creatures though, and Death's Head has to be in it somewhere, I hope!
