Paramount gets into casual games

Hollywood studio working on Mean Girls, Pretty in Pink and Clueless games for PC, DS

Hollywood studio Paramount has unveiled the first step in its games publishing strategy, revealing that it has signed up casual games firm Legacy to make games based on a number of its classic romantic comedies.

Clueless, Mean Girls and Pretty in Pink are the movies getting the first games treatment.

According to Variety, the games will initially release on PC as download and boxed product, and will arrive on DS later this year.

The magazine reports that Legacy will publish the titles in the US, whilst Paramount will handle that duty in other global territories.
