Nintendo of America boss talks up relationship with Take Two in the wake of franchise’s migration to DS
Nintendo of America chief Reggie Fils-Aime has admitted that he would “love” a version of GTA on Wii – and said it’s up to Take Two and Rockstar to come up with something that suits the system.
Speaking in the wake of the announcement of Rockstar’s GTA: ChinaTown Wars for DS at E3, Fils-Aime also stressed that Nintendo had a “very good relationship with the folks at Take Two”.
Speaking to MTV, Fils-Aime said:
“A GTA on the Wii is all based on what Rockstar and Take Two want to do. And again, from our standpoint, if they build a bottoms-up game that takes advantage of what we do well, I’d love to see it on the platform.”
