Monster Hunter boosts net sales; Street Fighter to arrive in time for Christmas

Capcom’s net sales for the quarter ending June 30th has hit 16,352 million yen ($1.07 billion), a rise of 14.5 per cent when compared to the same period last year.

The Resident Evil publisher also saw operating income leap 43.5 per cent to 2,978 million yen, with net income hitting 4,024 million yen (up 60.1 per cent).

The success follows the release of Capcom’s PSP hit Monster Hunter Freedom 2G, which has shifted 2.4 million units since it was released in March.
