Publisher cites 'control issues' as it pulls plug on PSP release of Big Willy Unleashed.
THQ has confirmed it has cancelled Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Unleashed for the PSP.
The move comes as a surprise considering the title had been long in development and was one of the more anticipted PSP titles of recent times.
A spokesperson for THQ told IGN: "Basically, the PSP version was cancelled because of control issues...
Big Willy Unleashed was designed by a Wii developer specifically for the Wii. When it was ported over to the PSP, the controls simply didn't translate well, and instead of pushing out the product with translated controls, it was cancelled."

If controls don't work then game will not be worth playing anyway - but you would have thought that they would have considered this before investing huge amounts of time into it?
A poorly ported game is way worse then no game at all. One hurts your image (and in the long run your bottom line) the other hurts your bottom line earlier but allows for future growth
